Hmm, I seem to be getting to this a bit late. Anywho, I've joined two other groups on this site but haven't been too active. I'm new to protesting but have been supporting Anon for a little while now. Speaking of protesting, I hope to attend AWA later this year and join in on flier raiding and activities of the like. Though, I will be cosplaying so my time will be a bit split =P

I don't really have much else to say, I suppose if you'd like to know anything else you can simply ask.

I know the site is a bit slow lately. We are currently also dealing with fighting a rezoning issue with the cos here. In a few weeks activity will pick back up.

what can you tell me about awa? So they have tables set up to give out information on? Do people walk around handing things out. I won't want to do the wrong thing and commit an Anime faux pas. I'll take all the info I can get!

Well, it's basically like any other anime convention, except for the fact that everyone's the nerd =P

I've only been to two but everyone has been nice at the ones I've been to. Some people walk around handing things out such as artwork, merchandise relating to a comic or something they made, etc. It's really too big to condense into a small explanation. Loads of people cosplaying, cosplay contests, Hentai rooms, Dealer rooms (basically, where you can buy merchandise/souvenirs), famous voice actors showing up so you can get pictures and all that good stuff. It's really fun, I'd assume we'd hand out fliers and such, not sure if we'd have a table because from what I've gathered we're a bit more pressed to go about and find people rather than let them come to us.
